Space Copenhagen designed the Swoon Lounge Chair to fill the gap between a conventional lounge chair and a typical armchair. Explore Swoon Lounge Chair here. With its continuous curves, lush look and sculptured shape, Swoon echoes Space Copenhagen's desire for you to enjoy life at a slow pace. Originally launched for the 11 Howard Hotel in New York, the Swoon Lounge is an open invitation to luxuriate in comfort. Based on their extensive experience designing high-end hotel interiors and Michelin-star restaurants, Space Copenhagen created Swoon to fill a gap missing in the market – a hybrid of a lounge chair and an armchair with the benefits of both. The singular shell merges the back, seat and armrests into one entity, allowing for exceptional support and a fit that feels natural. The seat and back cushions are also attached as one piece for endless hours of comfort. Swoon is suitable for hotel lobbies, VIP suites, restaurant reception areas, upscale bars, lounges and private residences. Of course, the perfect companion to any lounge chair is an ottoman. The Swoon Ottoman not only adds to your ability to stretch out and relax even more, it’s a decorative element in its own right. Ideal as a pouf for punctuating any space with style. Look for the same casual take on elegance in the Swoon Lounge Petit. Slightly smaller in size, it features a high back designed at a more upright angle. The result is a chair that invites you to unwind, making it conducive for conversations or working on your laptop.

The frame has a swivel feature with height adjustable gaslift and a tilt function for comfortable task seating. The arms can be used for suspension on any table. The chair can be tuned from basic to exclusive with optional upholstery. Pato is a prime example of our focus on sustainability and protecting the environment, reflected in a chair that’s 100% renewable and recyclable. All components can be incorporated into future furniture production, thus contributing to a circular economy by minimising the use of materials, resources, waste and pollution. Merging traditional production methods with cutting-edge technology, Pato is a human-centric, highly versatile series of multi-purpose functional furniture that draws on our in-depth experience with materials, immaculate detailing and heritage of fine craftsmanship. Allowing us to apply our high standards of texture, finish and carpentry techniques to an array of materials in addition to wood for products aimed at a mass market. With its clean lines and curves, Pato echoes the ethos of Danish-Icelandic design duo Welling/Ludvik. Demonstrating their belief that good design has the ability to be interesting, even when reduced to its most simple form. Where anything extraneous is eliminated and every detail has a purpose. Together we spent nearly three years developing the shell structure to have a soft surface that’s also wear and tear resistant. Enhancing the chair’s ability to optimally conform to the user’s body is a subtle beveled edge. A technique from classic cabinetmaking, which gives the chair a sense of handcrafted finesse. Each Pato is detailed and finished by hand by our highly skilled crafts people, who refine the beveled edge and the silky, resilient surface. Setting a new standard for the execution and finish of polypropylene. Since the success of its initial launch, we’ve expanded Pato into an extensive collection of variants, featuring armchairs, barstools, office swivel chairs and a long list of more, with frame options in wood, steel or painted steel. Including upholstered versions in fabric or leather to increase the possibilities for a more personalised visual statement. As a result, Pato meets the diverse needs of a global market.
