Socrate Vase

<p>The Socrate Collection is composed of two exquisite mouth-blown, handcrafted vases, hand finished with a diamond grindstone for a silk-like, uniform squared surface. They are made through the 'Submerged' glass technique, which is used to create several layers of glass with contrasting colours inside a single object, giving the illusion of “submerged” colours that lay on top of each other without mixing.<br /> This is done by joining different layers of glass through heat and repeatedly submerging them in pots of molten coloured glass. Added to a personal collection or gifted on special occasions, this vase will make an elegant statement on a console or bookshelf. Available in two colour combinations: crystal / white gold / steel and crystal / gold / smoked.</p>
