Schloss Hof Chandelier

This classical Baroque chandelier design originates from around 1720. Originally manufactured for Prince Eugen of Savoyen’s palace “Schloss Hof”, they were reconstructed by us on occasion of the castle’s restoration in 1995. The arms of glass rest on a brass “cake”. All visible metal parts are polished. The modular construction allows for various to-fit layouts. Through its simple shape it creates a timeless flair which perfectly accents a clean and clear modern architecture. Used in classical interiors it serves as a calm and set back centre piece.

Hoffmann Bronzit Series B Water Tumbler - Set of 2 - This collection Hoffmann Bronzit Series B was designed by Josef Hoffmann in 1912.

In 1914 Lobmeyr edited the set for the first time, executed in mat glass with black enamel broncit decoration. It was also distributed through the shops of the Wiener Werkstätte.

The elegantly styled, round glass objects are made by blowing the glass into a beechwood mold. The result is a glass with remarkably thin walls, which has been dubbed “muslin” because of its likeness to the eponymous French fabric. The glass is then etched with columns and rows of black lines that lend the pieces a classical feel. | Arteficius

Drinking Set No.267 Alpha Water Tumbler - Set of 6 - The enforced shape of the "Alpha" set, which fits snugly into the hand, is inspired by a copper beaker from the Middle Ages on show at the MAK/Vienna. The copper beaker was, in turn, inspired by Islamic shapes.
