Minimalist both in the chosen material and the fact that just six elements go into forming the entire item, the No. 14 is the result of almost twenty years of research. Simple, versatile and ever contemporary, it is considered the first true example of industrial design. The structure is formed from carefully steam bent solid beech wood. The backrest and back legs are formed out of a single piece of wood.

Suzenne Sofa - Gebrüder Thonet Vienna reconfirms the collaboration with Chiara Andreatti with the new SUZENNE SOFA, a two-seater sofa that incorporates the aesthetic characteristics of the lounge chair with the same name. A project with a contemporary spirit, SUZENNE SOFA reinterprets, with the soft stoke of the designer, the characteristic elements of the DNA of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna: bent wood and woven cane. The seat features a sleek structure in bent beech-wood, with the combination of straight and curved lines securing the backrest in woven cane, with wood frame. The cushions on the seat and backrest are soft and cosy, springing forth like a flower from the stem.
