Segni Minimi Rug - Hand knotted in the cc-tapis atelier in Kathmandu, Nepal. The rug is made with a cotton weave and Himalayan wool, coming from the areas surrounding the atelier. Created with a special technique used exclusively by cc-tapis. The sale of every rug supports cc-foreducation. Size: 7.5' x 9.8' ft. oldie Segni Minimi, which translated means “simple marks”, was originally a collection of drawings on paper by architect Giuseppe Di Costanzo. Essential, abstract and geometric designs where lines, figures and fields of color overlay each other.

Eulero Outline Rug - Hand-knotted in the cc-tapis atelier in Kathmandu, Nepal. The rug is made with a cotton weave, Himalayan wool and silk pile coming from the areas surrounding the atelier. 125.000 individual knots per square meter approximately. The sale of every rug supports cc-for education. Size: 7,5'x9,8' ft. A (125.000 knots/sqm approx.)

Inspired by Rothko, overlays, colour and contrast create depth and intensity. The choice of the line, sometimes clear, sometimes faded brings vibration and movement. Playing on a “mise en abyme” effect recreating the essence of the rug, utilizing the energy of hand-knotting and the expertise of the artisan.
