Neri Pencil

Pencil in anodised aluminium with screw in black brass. Neri pencil supplied with graphite lead, mm. 5,6. Neri is a family of pens and mechanical pencils, and the debut of Internoitaliano in the world of deskware, designed by Giulio Iacchetti. The sizing, velvety finish and screw placement have been carefully studied for maximum comfort. Neri makes a clean break with the usual spring mechanisms and classic pen caps. Adjustment of lead length, and, unusually enough, of the position of the pen refill as well, is governed by the pressure exerted by the screw, a method borrowed from the point regulators of the compasses used in technical drafting. Over the years the Neri family has grown to include the Short version, like the pencils used by architects, and the Wood version, in pear wood.

Meta Stool - Meta is a family of stackable seats (chair, high and low stools) for indoor and outdoor use, entirely in coated aluminum. Based on the manufacturing process of the bodywork of racing cars in the past, through the use of metal rivets the Meta collection was developed specifically for a restaurant inside the complex of an automotive museum. The design challenge was to make a chair totally in aluminum, without the costly deep-drawing dies called for by industrial production. The profile of the aluminum sheet adapts to the selected method of construction: the design of the back permits the bending of the support by hand, while the seat is curved to follow the form of the load-bearing structure below. | Arteficius
