Countless Black and Coral pieces are woven together to form a symmetric yet imperfect pattern on slanted surfaces. VENINI’s glass grinding technique creates a typical shading effect that enhances the exquisite beauty of murrine. Painstakingly created by hand using the "murrine" technique, this round centrepiece of blown glass is part of a numbered edition of a collection originally designed by Carlo Scarpa in 1940. The combination of colours creates a striking visual effect created by the graphic signs floating inside the gentle curves and flowing edges of the piece.
