Made of Murano glass through the 'Submerged' glass technique, which is used to create several layers of glass with contrasting colours inside a single object, giving the illusion of “submerged” colours that lay on top of each other without mixing. This is done by joining different layers of glass through heat and repeatedly submerging them in pots of molten coloured glass. The bulb-like shape of the vase tapering to a dainty mouth large enough to hold a single flower adds a whimsical touch that completes the piece. The vases are distinguished for their distinct colour combination, the vibrant coloured interior encased in a brilliant clear glass exterior. </p>
