Marmini 2 Stool - MARMINI II is, despite its minimalistic architectural appearance, a comfortable upholstered stool. It is composed of three volumes that apparently do not seem to be able to stay together, two hard parts in ‘Fior di Pesco’ marble that seem to want to detach themselves from the central part of the upholstered soft padding. Three triangular shapes are pulled together in a compact final sculptural form. Marmini 1 Chaise Longue - MARMINI I is an uncompromised architectural lounge chair built in Verde Alpi, Bianco Carrara and Fior di Pesco marble. To augment the seating comfort, an oversized cushion with a materic Lelievre fabrics covers the entire chaise longue. This lounge chair presents a radical and severe formal shape composed of juxtaposed triangular shapes. This apparently simple form is rendered possible through a complex inner structure that allows the production to use marble of an ecologically reasonable thickness. Simplicity, perfectionism of the shape and excellent craftsmanship exhibit here the natural beauty of the marbles used to build this sculptural piece of furniture, «it puts nature on display». | Arteficius

Monument Shelving System - Monument is a collection of shelving units that combines wood and marble. This piece was imagined by Mathieu Girard and Gauthier Pouillart of Atelier Cocorico. The visual strength and stability of Monument relies on an ingenious construction system that does not require any tool. The result is a brutalist, material centered piece with a strong sculptural presence. The two imposing “cross” columns that constitute the superstructure are the visual signature of the shelf, but also present and enhance beautiful objects or books. The Monument system comes in a large variety of dimensions and it is possible to make mono material shelves or combine marble and wood.
