L’agave di Agrigento Plate - Sicily

L’agave di Agrigento Plate is a decorative dish by Benedetto Fasciana. Inspired by the Sixties and entirely made in Italy by local craftsmen, this piece is a tribute to Sicily. The Sicily collection includes fourteen subjects that highlight the island’s natural beauty. One sunny day of August, Benedetto Fasciana started painting again after a 25 years hiatus. He was sitting under a Kamarina tree and wanted to convey the beauty of what surrounded him in that moment. He also wanted to interpret it through the eyes of a child. This experience ultimately led to the creation of a series of dishes decorated with botanical watercolors. Due to the handcrafted nature of this product, small variations in colour, size and shape may occur. Not suitable for dishwasher and microwave ovens. Plate 41x34 cm
