Harbour Dining Chair

Conceived during the design process for Menu’s new creative destination Menu Space located in Copenhagen’s thriving Nordhavn (Northern Harbour) area, the Harbour Chair is the result of fulfilling a variety of needs (among others) comfortable versatility. Designed specifically for Menu Space, the dining chair is ideal for anything from restaurants, conferences, offices, or in the comfort of one’s own home. A hybrid space that mixes office, showroom, café, co-working and event space in One, Menu Space required a chair that could suit a range of purposes. Finding a perfect balance between geometry and organic shapes, the shell’s armrests bend outwards for maximum support, as does its high backrest, providing not only comfort but also an elegant and slim appearance that will appeal to any discerning design aficionado. Harbour Dining Chair comes in solid oak(natural oak/dark stained oak) or powder-coated steel(black/light grey) base and 85% polypropylene / 15% fibreglass for the injection moulded seat. The seat is available in six different colours, black (RAL 9011) white (RAL 9016) light grey (RAL 9002) olive (RAL 7002) burned red (RAL 8015) khaki (RAL 1011).

Afteroom Plywood Upholstered Dining Chair - Continuing the streamlined simplicity of the Afteroom collection, this sleek, simple and elegant chair is crafted in form-pressed plywood, a material that exemplifies the innovative manufacturing advancements of the 20th century. Thin sheets of veneer are glued in layers with grains running in opposite directions to create a material that is both incredibly strong and exceedingly lightweight. Shell and legs are CNC-milled and the core is birch veneer while outer layers are made from oak veneer. Afteroom Dining Chair - The first chair ever to be designed for MENU, the Afteroom Chair has been stripped back of any unnecessary components to reveal the essential functions of a chair in its most simplistic form. The Afteroom Chair pays homage to Bauhaus and functionalism with a design that combines minimalistic clean lines with good quality materials to create an aesthetically stunning piece of design, without in any way compromising comfort. With a silhouette that is both sleek and instantly recognizable, the Afteroom Dining Chair has a small oblong veneer backrest that extends from a bent back rod on the tubular black powder-coated steel base. The seat comes in milled MDF with a painted finish and is available with or without an upholstered seat. Available in luxurious and diverse upholstery fabrics and leathers in a range of beautiful textures and colours, the chair is both timeless and elegant in its expression.
