Colour Nativity

<p>Continuing his research into the meaning and use of colour in objects, Sebastian Bergne has produced a contemporary nativity set. Each of the characters is a minimal wooden block that is recognisable by it’s colour, proportion and place in the composition. The project makes use of our learned experience from exposure to thousands of nativity images, toys and christmas cards over the years.<br /> Part of a second personal edition of 250.</p>

Bevel Storage Stools - The Bevel stool was first created as exhibition furniture for the 2014 Solutions exhibition at the Frankfurt fair Ambiente. Designed to offer visitors a moments rest whilst they watched product films and store the exhibition catalogue beneath, they were manufactured using grey MDF board and coloured laminate. By request this elegant and useful stool has been made available as a domestic storage stool in various sustainably sourced timber offcuts. At the moment Maple, Beach and Oak are available. It’s slightly atypical size and proportion make it suitable as a stool, side table and storage container for magazines or small items. Dimensions 190 x 300 x 510mm. | Arteficius

Full Bowl - Full bowls are on the point of overflowing. The precious marble is crafted into a form that makes a liquid form solid. They function normally as bowls only sharing the expected volume with the object itself. This makes them ideal for displaying small amounts of beautiful food or objects.
