TMD Floor Lamp - <p>Based on his famous TMM lamp, Miguel Milá designed the TMD version replacing wood with metal. The designer came up with the idea of a shade that is raised like a sail up a mast. In order to reduce the number of sections, he replaced wood with metal and the cross-shaped base for a circular one. The inventive engineering remains the same; the shades height is adjustable via a rubber band stopper, and the light is switched on/off by pulling lightly on the cable. The elegant lampshade, made of white linen fabric, creates a warm ambient light. This exquisite blend of shapes and materials makes for an inviting, contemplative space, even with the light turned off.</p>

Tripode G5 Floor Lamp - <p>Trípode is a family conceived to lend neutral spaces a warmer touch through the use of colour. This series features two sizes of table lamps, a widely known floor version (the G5), in addition to a pendant lamp version in various sizes. Designed in 1994, the GT5 pendant lamp was the first of a large family created as an alternative to the use of cardboard, methacrylate, or solid textile shades; the use of handmade cotton ribbon reincorporates traditional craftsmanship. With the light on, the shade provides a warm light, rich in nuances. With the light off, this lamp is a sculptural statement piece that enhances the room.</p>

Tripode G5 Floor Lamp

Americana Table Lamp - <p>Enthralled by the idea of enhancing Hansen's remarkable geometry, Milá's Americana series is also based on a swing arm, although here the arm is a single section with a right-angled bend. Accordingly, the head of the shaft becomes the swivel that enables the shades horizontal rotation, reducing the lever effect. The arm can be moved towards you or away from you without shifting the large metal base, evoking the swing motion.</p>
