Scuola Permanente dell’Abitare, OCRA Officina Creativa dell’Abitare and Matter of Stuff inaugurate a retrospective exhibition of the Internationally renown designer Sebastian Bergne.

On this occasion, journalists and design enthusiasts had the chance to see the pieces produced throughout the Designer Residency and of the Camberwell University Workshop.  

Commissioning one architecture and three design studios, Matter of Stuff presented an array of experimental new works made from a single raw material.
In place of recycling a waste material through mulching, Matter of Stuff commissioned four designers to reinterpret, explore and experiment with dowels from a past exhibition.

At MIART Objet, Matter of Stuff unveiled for the first time in Italy furniture pieces by six international designers – Alessandro Zambelli, Nina Cho, Olga Bielawska, Tim Vanlier, Tomas Libertiny and Uufie – winners of the inaugural MOS Designer Residency Competition.

Transforming Matters is a reflection on the transformation of materials through the skilful hands of an artisan as well as through the passing of time.  

Matter of Stuff presented Cocktail Atmospheres at Sketch London. The exhibition featured furniture, lighting mobiles and accessories by thirteen international designers.

Paris-based artist Stephan Zimmerli transformed PiM.Studio's scenographic dowel walls into a three-dimensional canvas during a two-day live painting performance.

Design research gallery Matter of Stuff returns to iconic London venue sketch in September with a new site-specific exhibit for London Design Festival 2018 - Blown Away.

Designed by Ariel Zuckerman and Manufactured by Matter of Stuff, the collaborative installation at the Venice Biennale is an occasion to create objects that make us reflect on the use of this precious natural resources.
