Blackcork

Blackcork represents a journey through innovative design, exploring a material with unique characteristics – expanded black cork. Toni Grilo, Blackcork's creative director, was invited to bring his innovative vision, and gather other creatives, to a project that reaffirms the importance of cork's design and versatility to create timeless products with a strong connection to sustainability. Blackcork was created in 2014 by Sofalca, a renowned expanded black cork agglomerate manufacturer for thermic and acoustic insulation in construction, decoration and architecture, since 1966.
