Italian glass artist Simone Crestani is a young luminary when it comes to glass. His aesthetic tends toward time-honoured artistic values – balance, elegance, grace – yet his creations are complete novelties in the glassart world. Simone had the privilege of growing up close to Venice and started working with glass when he was only 15 years old, after doing his apprenticeship with expert glassmith Massimo Lunardon. With a balance between tradition and innovation, Simone uses glass to give form to his ideas underlining the coexistence between fragile form and concrete details, hard contours and harmony of elegance.
